SRC ANTI-SLIP SOLE
SRC rated boots meet the most stringent requirements for slip-resistant soles and are both SRA and SRB rated. The SRA rating is carried out on ceramic tile floors coated with a diluted soap solution, while the SRB rating is carried out on glycerin coated steel floors. The tests are based on the measurement of the coefficients of friction in flat shoes and shoes inclined towards the heel. The results provide a good indication of the actual skid resistance of the boots in practice on slippery tile and steel surfaces.
TOE PROTECTION + INSOLE
The boots feature a protective toe cap and insole to offer maximum protection against falling objects and their penetration. Tested and certified according to EN ISO 20345:2011, the protective toe cap protects the toes from impacts with an energy level of 200 J and compression under a load of 15 kN. The S5 classification is the strictest category regarding protective characteristics for safety footwear.
