KAY 24 is a highly active amino acid derivative acaricide insecticide that acts by contact and ingestion. Its action is due to a blockade of the central and peripheral nervous system of insects. Kay retains its full insecticidal effectiveness in the field, even under extremely high temperatures, for an appreciable time. It shows a suppressive effect or control of mite populations. STONE FRUIT: Against aphids and complementary action against tetranychid mites.

PEACH TREE: Against aphids, green mosquito, thrips.

PLUM: Against thrips, aphids and complementary action against tetranychid mites.

DOSAGE

COTTON AND ORNAMENTALS: In normal spraying from 0.5 to 1 l/ha, using the lowest dose against aphids and the highest for heliotis control. To achieve a good effect against spider mites, the dose can be increased up to 1.25 l/ha, depending on the moment of application, the existing infestation and the climatic conditions.

The effects of this product begin to be observed after 3 days of the treatment.

PEPITA FRUIT TREES: Plea and aphids: 0.025%-0.05% (25 to 50cc per 100 liters of water).

ALMOND: Borers, green and tiger mosquito: 0.025%-0.05% (25 to 50cc per 100 liters of water).

STONE FRUIT: Apply until flowering at the following doses : Aphids: 0.025%-0.05% (25 to 50cc per 100 liters of water in normal volume applications). In Plum against thrips: 0.025%-0.05% (25 to 50cc per 100 liters of water). In Peach trees against thrips 100-150cc/hl, with a maximum of 1.44l/ha, and against green mosquito 50-70cc/hl.

CITRUS: Prays: 0.075%-0.1% (75 to 100cc per 100 liters of water). Aphids: 0.025%-0.05 (25 to 50cc per 100 liters of water). Black cap: 0.025%-0.05% (25 to 50cc per 100 liters of water).

MOMENT AND METHOD OF USE

It should be applied when the first symptoms of attack are observed, using the higher doses in the first treatments and the lower doses in successive treatments, which should be done at the time intervals indicated by the reinfection observed, according to the biology of the insect and the season. of the year. It is advisable to apply the product with high volumes of water, spraying from bottom to top, with this it is important in all crops, but especially in those in which the invasions of mites (red and yellow spiders) are common and difficult to combat (cotton , fruit, citrus, etc.).

 

SAFETY PERIOD SINCE THE LAST TREATMENT

Do not treat for 7 days before harvesting in almond, cotton and tomato; 14 days in artichoke, green beans, potatoes, wheat and alfalfa; 21 days in plum; 28 days in citrus and 75 in pome fruit trees. In stone fruit trees it is not applicable since the indicated treatments are until flowering. It does not proceed in ornamentals.
