¿How FFP2/VP2 masks are put on?
The method of use is simple and you only have to follow 5 simple steps:
- Open the mask so that the nose sinks at the top and pull the ear straps with both hands.
- Hold the mask against your chin to completely cover your nose and mouth.
- Pass the elastic bands behind his ears and adjust them so that he is comfortable.
- With both hands, adjust the nose clip. Place your fingers in the middle of it and press it inward until it fits on the bridge of your nose.
- Cover the mask with your hands and exhale strongly. If air leaks out of the nose clip, retighten it. If it's by the edge, reposition it.
Warnings and indications:
- Wash your hands after using the mask.
- Wear the mask throughout the exposure and replace it when necessary. The user's health could be affected if all the instructions for use are not followed and/or the product is not used correctly throughout the risk exposure.
- Avoid wearing the mask for more than one work shift (9 hours).
- Discard and replace the mask if it becomes damaged or breathing resistance increases.
- Never alter, modify or repair the mask.
- The use of the mask is prohibited in atmospheres containing less than 19.5% oxygen.
- Do not use for respiratory protection against atmospheric contaminants/concentrations unknown or immediately dangerous to life or health.
- Low efficiency against gases/vapours.
- Dispose of the mask in the waste container so that they can be treated and do not pose a serious environmental problem. Contaminated products must be disposed of in accordance with local legislation for hazardous waste.
