Fitobalsam is a healing paste for the repair of damaged plants, ready to use as you receive it at home. This repair putty contains elastic resins that protect plants and trees from external agents such as diseases or the like.

Its complete composition includes resins, vegetable oils, softening substances, healing materials and that regulate the PH of the plant. A very effective putty that acts on the plant generating protection, healing and healing of all those wounds caused after grafting, pruning or damage.

Direct application on the grafts by painting or spreading over the wound is recommended, covering it correctly to favor a long-lasting and strong fixation as well as an excellent healing of the damaged tree or plant.

In the case of pruning, we will use a spatula or broad brush to cover the Fitobalsam wound, with an application of 2 to 3 mm. It is important to remember that the wounds must be sloped and smooth, otherwise the effect would be less. In case the cut was excessive and wide, it is recommended to apply a layer and repeat the process once it has dried.

One of the most common problems that require the use of Zapi Fitobalsam putty is when our plant or tree needs to heal old wounds. That is when the application of a healing paste becomes necessary. To treat old cuts, it is advisable to remove any remaining rotten wood, with the help of a pruning tool, to reach the healthy stem. You can scratch the outside of the wound with a knife or similar. After this, you can effectively apply a layer of 2 to 3 mm of product throughout the affected area, including the outside or the edges of the trunk. As in the case of pruning, repeat the treatment when the first layer is dry.
