Instructions for use:
1º- Fill the test tube approximately halfway with the aquarium water.
2º- Add 4 drops of indicator liquid.
3º- See the color it takes.
- If the color is greenish , the pH is neutral and does not require rectification.
- If yellow is taken , the pH is acidic. Neutralize the aquarium water by adding one tablet for every 15 liters of water (dissolving it first in a little water is useful but not essential).
- If blue is taken , the pH is alkaline. In the case of an alkaline Ph (greater than 7), the correction depends on the degree of alkalinity and the buffer capacity of the water (usually linked to its content of salts, mainly bicarbonates).
