HOW TO USE. How the DFV Dog Distemper Distemper Test is performedV?

  1. If the sample taken is conjunctival secretion, nasal discharge, urine and saliva, the sample will be taken with the sample collector (it is advisable to moisten the end of the collector with saline solution before collecting the sample). Insert the end of the collector into the buffer tube and shake for 15 seconds.
  2. If the sample taken is serum or plasma, the envelope will be opened at one corner to remove the pipette, two drops (60 µl) of the sample will be added inside the tube with buffer using the pipette. The tube is closed and shaken for 15 seconds. Then you will remove and keep the device on a flat surface without movement and using the pipette you will deposit 4 drops of buffer with sample in the well (S). You will examine the result 20 minutes after adding the sample buffer.

Reading the results:

Positive (+): A color band will be shown in the test zone (T) and another in the control zone (C).

Negative (-): A colored band will be shown only in the control zone (C).

Invalid (NV): It is recommended to repeat the test if the control zone (C) is free of alterations.

CONSERVATION

It is recommended to store at room temperature below 30ºC. Does not need refrigeration. Do not freeze. The product must be protected from direct sunlight. Properly stored, the product is stable and will remain in good condition until the expiration date indicated on it.
