HOW TO USE BEAPHAR LACTOL PUPPY MILK POWDER

Add Lactol to hot (not boiling) water and stir until completely dissolved and allow to cool to lukewarm (38C or blood temperature). Adult pets may prefer to drink it cold. The use of suitable feeding equipment, such as the Beaphar Bottle Kit, is recommended. These should always be clean and sterile, especially for young animals..

Lactol Puppy Milk can be kept prepared in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but must be warmed to blood temperature for young animals before use. Always keep fresh water available.

RECOMMENDED DILUTION

Add 7 level tablespoons (4.5 g per tablespoon) to every 100 ml of warm water.

ADVISABLE DAILY DOSE

• Weaned puppies, as a complementary food: for puppies less than 8 weeks of age, up to 40 ml per kg of body weight can be given as a complementary food.
• For pregnant, lactating females and sick or convalescent dogs up to 11 ml of Lactol per kg of body weight can be given as a complementary food.
