¿What is Otitis??
It is one of the most common pathologies in animals. External otitis is an inflammation of the auricle and the external auditory canal, which can affect the tympanic membrane. It frequently evolves into chronic or recurrent otitis with continuous cycles of inflammation and infections that resist antibiotic and antifungal treatments. This usually happens due to the presence of Biofilms, which are polymeric structures secreted by the microorganisms themselves that hinder the effect of antimicrobial treatments, complicating the suppression of these pathogens and enhancing their resistance. The main factors that trigger otitis are allergies, parasites, foreign bodies, excessive keratinization of the pinna and/or ear canal, endocrine or metabolic causes, and neoplasia or autoimmune diseases.

Before administering any health product to your pet, we advise you to visit your trusted veterinarian and read the Nacotil leaflet or technical sheet. You must position the ear canal of your animal as vertical as possible and press on the product container applying the appropriate amount to fill the canal according to its capacity. Then you should perform a light massage at the base of the ear so that the product is distributed correctly and if necessary, subsequently clean the inside of the ear with a sterile gauze or cotton.
