INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: How to apply Strectis antiparasitic pipettes for cats from 0-5 Kg of Cevaa?
These pipettes are a type of spot-on solution. One pipette per animal corresponding to the minimum recommended dose of 12 mg/kg body weight (bw) fipronil Y 6 mg/kg bw of (S)-methoprene .
Care should be taken to avoid excessive wetting of the hair with the veterinary medicinal product, as this will produce a sticky appearance at the applied site. Treatment can be repeated every 5 weeks in cats, or as deemed appropriate based on the type and level of parasitic exposure. In the absence of appropriate studies, treatment should not be repeated at intervals shorter than 2 weeks.
Form of employment:
- Separate one of the blister packs from the blister foil, this helps prevent accidental opening of the adjacent blister pack to protect unopened pipettes from exposure to moisture. It is recommended to open the blister with scissors to avoid damaging the pipette and to cut along the line marked with the scissors icon. Then carefully separate the foil from the cut end and remove the pipette.
