PLANTING TIME
Sowing at a shallow depth (0.5 to 1.5 cm), density of 4 to 6 kg per ha. Depending on the area, sowing takes place from July to December. It can even be sown in spring, depending on the climate and area.

GROWING TIPS
The soils where to plant Grelos de Lugo must be soft, moist and with quality organic matter, with good storage and water retention properties and well drained. Soils with a high concentration of limestone will give rise to fibrous and bad tasting roots.
