The control methods to be used can be chemical, physical or biological. For physical and chemical control there are specific products for each type of pest. Different products come in different commercial formulations.

rodenticides

Anticoagulant rodenticides interfere with blood coagulation in rodents, causing internal bleeding and death. Their action is slow, so they do not kill immediately. Given the above, the rest of the rodents do not distrust the product and continue to ingest it. Products should be placed near rodent shelters or at their place of activity.

Within the different commercial formulations there are, among others:

• pellets
• Bait : very appetizing for rodents.
• blocks
• Dust

Chemical-free rodent traps are also on the market.

bird repellers

These products prevent birds from perching or getting close to balconies, windows and terraces so as not to damage them or dirty them with their waste. Does not stain or damage any material.

anti ants

Commercial formulations for ant control include:

• dry powders : Best results are obtained when applied in areas where there is low humidity.
• granular baits : they are attractive for the ants, which take it inside the anthill, distributing the product through the galleries.

anti cockroaches

Cockroach infestation is treated by using insecticides. The commercial formulations available on the market are presented in different ways:

• baits : they act by ingestion and have an attractant that makes it more palatable for the cockroach. Its action is slow, in order to ensure that it is ingested by cockroaches. They are easy and comfortable to use, and quite safe for humans. The bait should be placed close to where the cockroaches live.
• Powder : they are picked up and transported by cockroaches. In humid conditions they lose effectiveness.
• Aerosol sprays : they are common and have a low percentage of active ingredient. Its effectiveness is greater if it is applied directly on the insect.
• Full discharge aerosols : All the content of a single application is downloaded. During the discharge, both humans and domestic animals are not allowed to stay in the enclosure.

anti flies

For the physical control of flies there are strips that are hung and the flies are attached to them. After a short period, the fly dies. There are also repellent gels available on the market, which prevent the presence of flies without containing poison. For chemical control, there is a wide variety of insecticides on the market in different presentations and with different active ingredients for insect control. For the home environment, the most common are aerosols.
